I’ve been getting a lot of questions about affordable perfumes lately, and I just had to share my thoughts on one of my recent finds from Shop Miss A: the AOA Lab White Summer Petals Perfume. I only gave it an 8/10 in my quick review, and I wanted to dive a bit deeper into why I think it’s a solid pick, especially for the price! When I first unboxed this little gem, I was immediately drawn to its simple yet chic packaging. But of course, the real magic is inside! The first spritz of White Summer Petals is like stepping into a sun-drenched garden right after a light rain. It’s undeniably floral, but not in an overwhelming, powdery way. Imagine delicate white blossoms – maybe jasmine, lily of the valley, or soft rose petals – mingling with a hint of fresh, green leaves and a touch of subtle sweetness. It’s incredibly clean and airy, making it the perfect everyday scent. For me, this is a quintessential spring and summer fragrance. It’s light enough not to be cloying in warmer weather, and it just evokes feelings of bright, happy days. I’ve been wearing it for casual outings, brunch with friends, or even just working from home when I want a little pick-me-up. It’s not a powerhouse scent that will fill a room, but that’s actually one of its strengths for daily wear. It’s subtle enough to be office-friendly without offending anyone's nose. Now, let's talk about longevity and sillage. This isn't an EDP that will last all day and night without a touch-up, but for its price point, I was genuinely impressed. I usually get about 3-4 hours of noticeable wear before it becomes a very soft skin scent. If you want it to last longer, I’d suggest spraying it on your clothes or layering it over an unscented lotion. The sillage is intimate to moderate – people standing close to you will definitely catch a whiff, but it won't announce your arrival from across the room. So, why an 8/10 and not a perfect 10? While I adore the scent, I do wish the longevity was just a tiny bit better, and perhaps a touch more complexity in the dry down. Sometimes these affordable perfumes can be a bit linear, and while White Summer Petals is beautiful, it doesn't evolve much over time. However, for a fragrance that costs less than a fancy coffee, these are minor quibbles! If you’re on the hunt for a budget-friendly, fresh, and effortlessly feminine fragrance, especially one with a beautiful white floral profile, you absolutely have to check out the AOA Lab White Summer Petals from Shop Miss A. It’s become one of my go-to’s for when I want to feel put-together and refreshed without breaking the bank. Trust me, your wallet and your nose will thank you! It’s such a great value for a scent that smells far more expensive than it actually is.
