We are back on our editing grind again! We have put together a neat video for you all. You guys always ask "can we come along for the mine adventures?!" Unfortunately, we always have to say no for numerous reasons.
With that being said, we have put together a point of view (POV) video for you all of a recent abandoned mine exploration at a privately owned silver mine right here in the Black Hills.
Now, this is not like our other videos, in fact we hate POV videos with a passion🤣 but you guys asked for one so we made one! So, with that being said if POV is not your thing do not worry we will be back to our regular docu format on our next video!
This video will be out on our YouTube this Saturday(August 1) at 8pm!
This mine has not seen people in the older parts of it since the 1900s if not earlier. So, this is a video you will not want to miss!
Until then, we invite you guys to go subscribe so you do not miss the video drop. It will be scheduled starting tomorrow so you will be able to go ring the notification bell on it!
... Read moreExploring abandoned mines has always been a thrilling experience for me, especially when it comes to sites that are steeped in history like the silver mine featured in the new video. Walking through these silent underground tunnels gives you a tangible connection to the past, where miners once worked under hazardous conditions to extract precious metals.
What makes this video particularly captivating is the point-of-view (POV) style filming, which puts you right in the explorer’s shoes. Even though POV videos can be a bit intense or shaky, this format adds an immersive layer, making you feel the excitement and slight unease as you navigate the dark, deserted shafts. For anyone fascinated by mining history or adventure, it offers a unique perspective that standard documentary footage might not capture.
Visiting abandoned mines requires caution and respect for the location, especially when it's on private property like this silver mine. It’s important to remember that these sites can be dangerous—unstable structures, hidden shafts, and poor lighting are common hazards. That’s why videos like this provide a safe way to experience these places from home.
The Black Hills region holds a rich mining legacy, and exploring one of its untouched mines offers insight into early 20th-century mining technology and lifestyle. If you love geology, history, or exploring off-the-beaten-path locations virtually, subscribing to the channel and tuning in for this video is a must. Don’t forget to ring the notification bell to catch the video premiere scheduled for August 1 at 8 PM. It’s a rare visual journey into a forgotten chapter of mining history that fans of exploration and storytelling will truly appreciate.
