Although I don’t wear makeup all the time, these are some of my favorite products as of lately:
Juvia’s Place
• The Saharan Eyeshadow Palette
• Duo Blush - volume 5
• Duo Bronzer - Deep Dark
• lux lip liner - cocoa latte
• I am Magic Natural Radiance Foundation - Mali
NYX
• butter gloss - tiramisu, red velvet
• Wonder Stick Cream Highlight & Contour Stick - Deep
Sephora
• S Clean Glowing Skin Foundation (discontinued)
I really like how pigmented Juvia’s Place products are. Especially the blush, I only have to apply it once for that pop of color to show on my skin 🤩 My only complaint is that some products aren’t as dark as they appear to be in pictures. For example, the foundation shade I have is slightly too dark, but the next shade up that was available was too light? I had the same issue with the duo-bronzer - even though I got the darkest shade I still feel like it wasn’t dark enough for my preference, but I would still say it gets the job done. Perhaps it’s just the store I got from, but I was still a little disappointed considering this brand is targeted towards WOC, you would think that their darker shades would have a better match. Other than that I still really like the brand, it applies/blends very smoothly!
I love the Sephora clean glowing skin foundation, I would say it’s more light-medium but buildable coverage, and is easy to blend. However it’s been discontinued 😔
I had the same issue with the NYX wonderstick, the bronzer blended in with my skin, but that was the darkest shade they had in the store. Basically I should start shopping online from now on if I want to find products that actually match my skin tone 🫠 other than that, I still love the products lol, especially the butter gloss.
What are some of your recommendations?

Okay, let's talk about Juvia's Place eyeshadows! If you're anything like me, you've probably heard the hype, and for good reason. I absolutely adore their palettes, and specifically, THE SAHARAN BY JUVIA'S eyeshadow palette holds a special place in my collection. When I first got my hands on it, I was immediately struck by the vibrancy and intensity of the shades. Pigmentation is truly where this brand shines, and it's a huge aspect that draws me, and many others, to their products. What I love about Juvia's Place The Saharan Palette is its unique color story. It's not just another neutral palette; you get those beautiful warm tones, a pop of blue, and some stunning shimmers that truly elevate any look. The mattes are incredibly soft and blend like a dream, which is essential for creating seamless transitions without looking patchy. And the shimmers? Oh my goodness, they are next level! A little spritz of setting spray on your brush before dipping into a metallic shade will make them practically glow on your lids. For anyone new to Juvia's Place, or if you're looking to really maximize the impact of their eyeshadows, here are a few tips I've picked up. Because they are so pigmented, a little goes a long way. Start with a small amount of product on your brush and build it up gradually. This helps prevent fallout and gives you more control over the intensity. I also find that using a good eyeshadow primer really makes the colors pop even more and extends their wear time throughout the day – especially crucial for those long events or humid weather. Don't be afraid to experiment with different brushes too; a fluffy blending brush for mattes and a flat, dense brush for packing on shimmers can make a world of difference. Beyond just the Saharan, Juvia's Place consistently delivers on quality across their eyeshadow range. I've tried a few others, and the consistent factor is that incredible color payoff. This is particularly fantastic for those with deeper skin tones, as sometimes highly pigmented shadows are hard to come by, and these truly show up beautifully without needing to be built up endlessly. It feels like the brand genuinely understands the need for rich, vibrant colors that cater to a diverse range of complexions, which is something I deeply appreciate. While the original article touched on some shade matching issues with foundations and bronzers (which is a common struggle for many of us seeking inclusive shades!), I haven't personally encountered similar problems with their eyeshadows. The beauty of eyeshadow is often in its universal appeal, and Juvia's Place seems to nail this with their stunning color selections and formulation. They offer excellent value for the quality you receive, making high-end looking makeup accessible. So, if you're on the hunt for eyeshadows that deliver intense color and blend seamlessly, you absolutely have to give Juvia's Place a try. They've earned their spot as a favorite in my makeup bag. What are your go-to Juvia's Place palettes or shades?
