WALT DISNEY WORLD RECAP ✨
Just got back from a 4 day, 3 night trip to Orlando Florida. My mom and I took a girls trip to her happy place (Disney world) and had the best time.
I will admit- planning a trip to Disney World can be extremely overwhelming. Luckily, my mom is experienced and did all of the hotel booking and ticket buying for us. We stayed at the Disney Riviera resort (which was fabulous and wonderful). This made it extremely easy for us to get to the parks via bus, or Disney Skyliner, which has a stop outside of the Riviera hotel.
The first Day we got there- we spent most of the afternoon and evening in Epcot.
Second day we park hopped starting out at rope drop at Magic Kingdom, then to Epcot for a virtual queue of guardians of the Galaxy then the rest of the afternoon at Hollywood studios. There was a special after hours event for resort guests at Magic Kingdom so we finished out a late night there.
For the third day : we rope drop and spent the morning in Animal Kingdom. Then headed over to Hollywood Studios early afternoon and stayed till park closing.
I wouldn’t say this trip was for the faint of heart. We walked 14 miles two of the three days if you’re looking for a more laid-back vacation at Disney I suggest visiting for more days or planning on only spending time in a few parks.
Genie + is DEFINITELY worth the extra money. Just do it. It helped keep line wait times under 30 minutes and helped us spend more time relaxing in the park, eating and drinking rather than spending all that time on our already tired feet in long lines.
Also shout out to the mammoth club YouTube channel for all the Disney World Parks information!!

Planning a trip to Disney World can indeed feel overwhelming, especially with the array of attractions and experiences available. Epcot, known for its international pavilions and futuristic attractions, offers a unique blend of culture and fun; be sure to allocate sufficient time to savor all it has to offer. While Magic Kingdom is a staple for families, where classic rides like Space Mountain and Cinderella’s Castle enthrall visitors, consider visiting during off-peak times to enjoy shorter lines. Remember that park hopping, as experienced on the second day, can maximize your enjoyment by allowing visits to multiple parks in one day, so be strategic about your park selections. Genie+ is a game-changer for reducing wait times for popular rides, and its value should not be underestimated by anyone considering their Disney World adventure. By planning accordingly and taking advantage of such tools, you can significantly enhance your overall experience. Lastly, for those passionate about Disney, channels like the Mammoth Club on YouTube provide extensive information and tips, making it easier to navigate the parks effectively. Use social media hashtags, like #disneyworld and #travelwithme2024, to connect with fellow Disney fans and gather more insights for your trip!
