Aspiring nail tech!

Did you catch on that all we were free?

I’m in the very beginning stages of nails! Working towards getting my license but in the mean time I have lovely people who let me practice on them and they’ve become regulars! I hear it’s very rare to have family and friends become clients before strangers do but my family has been very supportive! I know my art is not that great, but you have to start somewhere, right?

I’ll be posting my nail journey here on lemon 8! #nailtechnicianjourney #nail technician #nailtechstudent #doingmyownnails #beginnernailartist

Creating different nail designs allows me to explore my creative side and develop my technique. Each session helps me understand clients' preferences while building my confidence. Free practice sets—like a holiday-themed design for my mom or a mocha frappe look for my aunt—provide valuable learning opportunities. Sharing my journey with hashtags like #nailtechnicianjourney and #beginnernailartist on platforms like Lemon8 creates a supportive community. Other aspiring techs can learn from similar experiences, and existing nail artists often offer encouragement. I recommend documenting your journey to track improvement and celebrate small wins. Engaging with your audience about techniques and products used can enrich your posts and attract more followers interested in nail art. As I learn, I will share tips about choosing the right nail products, pricing services, and finding your unique style in the nail industry. This community is one of growth and support, helping one another thrive in this colorful and creative field. Whether you're a beginner like me or looking to refine your skills, let's connect and inspire each other!
