I was 16 and my husband was 20. We’ve been married 58 years. We’ve had no choice really but to adapt to each other’s changes. Now I’m 74 and he’s 78. The changes are harder now than any other time in our marriage. Much harder to adjust, but we decided in the beginning divorce was not an option. So we persevere. Love has always been there even though sometimes it’s been hard to find.
