iPhone 17e with the A19 chip when the economy model may be stronger than the current standard model, and the impact on Thais who are planning to buy a new iPhone.

Normally speaking of an e-code iPhone or economy model, many people tend to view it as a model whose specs have been toned down to make prices easier to access, but the recent data coming off the Geekbench is completely changing that memory.

In recent days, the results of the claimed performance of the A19 chip were revealed, which is expected to be used in the new iPhone 17e. The results were very interesting because the average number came out higher than the standard iPhone 16 last year.

The preliminary specification of this A19 chip consists of a 6-core CPU, 4-core GPU and 16-core Neural Engine, with the average single-core score result being about 3,320 points, and the Multi-core being 8,373 points.

When compared to the regular iPhone 16 model based on the A18 chip, it was found that the score of the 17e was slightly ahead of it, but the point that clearly made the difference was the graphic score; or Metal Score, where the iPhone 17e achieved an average high of 31,163 points, while the iPhone 16 achieved only about 27,666 points.

This means that if this information is true, next year's economical version will probably process graphics and play games more fluently than this year's standard version, something that has not happened very often in Apple's history.

However, for Thais who are hesitant about buying an iPhone 17e, a key precaution is that this drop-out score comes from a sample of only 11 test results, where the actual numbers may change or be inaccurate.

Another factor that can't be overlooked is price. Even with the performance getting stronger and Apple adjusting to this high spec, the price of release in Thailand doesn't increase like the former economy model we're used to.
