Who's been hesitating about moving to the Galaxy S26 Ultra camp lately? This is one of the most brutal specification phones ever. But by trying it out, I found a strange feeling: the more Samsung tried to innovate, the more I thought about the stability of the iPhone 17 Pro.
The first highlight is the Privacy Display screen that really keeps people peeking from the side with the hardware system, which is very advanced and useful when running on the electric or public, but when activated immediately, the screen quality that used to be bright drops clearly, both the brightness and the accuracy of the color. It is to exchange what Samsung does best to get this feature. Unlike Apple, which may not have this kind of feature, it emphasizes keeping the display standard as constant as possible in any situation.
Later, the camera story, although the S26 Ultra has a wider aperture to f / 1.4 and a very sharp zoom, but compared to the general use, the difference from the previous model, the S25 Ultra, is very small, while the iPhone still dominates in video file consistency, color management, and, importantly, working with social apps like Instagram that still look better.
As for the AI that Samsung provided, the photo-making and intelligent assistants, it seemed exciting at first, but after a while it was felt that many features were not necessary in everyday life, and the use of AI photo-making sometimes also reduced the resolution, while Apple's AI focused on working behind the scenes to make us use more fluid without feeling.
The S26 Ultra is a great mobile and is full of amazing innovation, but it made me realize that sometimes what we value in everyday mobile is not just the overflow or features, but the balance and fluidity that unites everything, which is what makes people often come back to the iPhone.
