You guys, who are using the Samsung S25, Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 series, can wait to update the machine. There's news that an upgraded version of the Document Scan feature that was recently released with the Galaxy S26 is going to be released in the One UI 8.5 update soon.
The changing point is that when we scan many pages, the system will save them, right? But this update will allow us to take many pages and combine them into a single PDF file. It makes it easier for us to manage files and send tasks. No need to load other document scanning apps.
We can also pull out a shortcut of the scanner feature on the home screen. When you use it, you can press in. The setup method is just to open the camera app into Settings, select Scan, select Document Scan, and then launch Add Document Scan to Apps screen. This shortcut will go to the home screen immediately.
