Who's waiting to see what's new with the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max? Now there's news coming out to win. The screen size is expected to remain the same at 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches, but the cool is hidden in the new screen technology.
The iPhone screen is normally a strength that Apple does not modify very often, but it is reported that it is preparing to use the LTPO + screen for the Model 18 Pro, which is expected to be produced almost entirely by Samsung and LG. The BOE camp that used to co-produce the Model 17 Pro screen seems to have dropped this round because it is not possible to produce the LTPO + screen according to Apple's standards.
LTPO technology originally helped the Always-On Display feature to work with dynamic refresh adjustments, but LTPO + will prevail. The data indicates that it will help the screen control current emissions more thoroughly and adapt to the environment better.
What will obviously change is two main stories.
- The first is to save energy better, resulting in a longer battery operation.
- The second is a better response in low light, which may reduce the problem of flashing or gluing monitors in the dark.
