There was a time when I thought freedom meant fitting in.
Celebrating what everyone else celebrated.
Agreeing with what everyone else agreed with.
Silencing what I felt in my spirit just to avoid being set apart.
But awakening changes everything.
You realize this is not your kingdom.
You realize you were never created to blend in—you were created to belong to Yahuah.
And when that truth settles in your heart, something breaks.
Chains you didn’t even know were there… fall off.
But I won’t lie to you—freedom can feel lonely at times.
Because when you stop walking the wide path, you notice how few people are walking the narrow one.
There were moments I longed for friendships that no longer aligned with who I was becoming.
Moments I felt the absence of people I thought would walk beside me forever.
But in my longing, I almost overlooked one of the greatest gifts Yahuah gave me—my husband.
Not just as a partner… but as my covering.
My best friend.
A man who speaks truth to me, even when it’s uncomfortable.
A man who leads me toward Yahuah, not away from Him.
A man who chooses to love me intentionally, not conditionally.
Through him, Yahuah showed me something that changed my heart:
Love is not transactional.
I don’t need someone to love me in order for me to love them.
I don’t need acceptance from this world to walk in truth.
And I don’t need to chase people who choose to walk away.
Because when you truly belong to Yahuah, you stop begging for seats at tables you were never assigned to.
You learn to release people with love.
You learn to stand without apology.
You learn that rebirth is not about changing your environment…
It’s about Yahuah changing your heart.
And once your heart changes, you can never return to who you used to be.
This world no longer defines you.
This world no longer owns you.
This world is no longer your home.
You are just passing through.
Set apart.
Refined.
And finally free.
Breaking free from worldly expectations and traditions that never truly resonated with me was a profound turning point in my spiritual journey. Like many, I once believed that fitting in—celebrating the same things as everyone else, agreeing with popular opinions, and suppressing my inner convictions—was the path to freedom. But the awakening I experienced revealed something deeper: true freedom is found when you stop trying to blend in and start belonging to a higher purpose. When you realize that this world is not your home, it begins to change the way you view relationships and yourself. The loneliness that can accompany walking the narrow path is real, but it's also an invitation to deeper trust and reliance on Yahuah’s guidance. I found that releasing people with love, without bitterness or resentment, allowed me to grow stronger in my commitment to truth. An important lesson I learned is that love is not transactional. Loving without expectation frees you from the need for approval or acceptance from the world. It helps you stand firm in your beliefs and walk away from situations or friendships that no longer align with your spiritual growth. Having a partner who supports your spiritual walk—someone who lovingly challenges and leads you closer to Yahuah—can be an incredible blessing. This kind of partnership reinforces the understanding that our identity is rooted in divine love, not in the fleeting acceptance of human approval. Ultimately, rebirth is about internal transformation rather than external change. When your heart is reshaped by Yahuah, your perspective shifts; you live set apart, refined, and free. This realization that we are just passing through the world shapes how we engage with life, cherish relationships, and pursue purpose. It allows us to walk authentically, with courage and conviction, anchored in the freedom that transcends worldly bondage.
