Trader Joe’s: Favs & New Finds

Here’s my latest Trader Joe’s Haul! A mix a new finds & my favs.

• Breaded Chicken 🍗

This is a game changer for me. I was curious on how they would come out & to me it’s worth it for the price. You get 1lb of cooked / frozen breaded chicken tenders for $7.99! I coated it with my seasoning of choice & popped it in the air fryer for 25 mins 🙌🏽

• Veggie Soup 🥣

I haven’t tired this yet, but it looks pretty tasty. And for $3.99 you get a mason jar after you use it so that’s neat haha

• Berries & Cream Yogurt 🫐🍋

I LOVE THESE. They have multiple flavors too so snag them up when you see them because they sell out pretty fast.

• Blackened Salmon 🐠

I am a fan of TJ’s bbq cut salmon so when I saw this I was excited. Haven’t tried it yet 🤞🏽

• Spicy Meat Pizza 🍕

I just tried it last night & I thought it was pretty good for frozen pizza. I will for sure buy this again, makes a good & easy lunch.

• French Fries 🍟

These are my favorite frozen fries. I forgot the price though 😓 I believe it’s about $3.

• Plantain Crisps 🍌

If you like TJ’s plantain chips, these are worth a try. I like these when I’m in a tostones kind of vibe 😉

• Tikka Masala Sauce 🥫

This is actually pretty good. I’m a fan of TJ’s Indian food & this makes a new meal option in the rotation. I also forgot if I mentioned this one before & the price 🤦🏽‍♀️😂

• Veggie Samosas 👏🏽

These are so good. So good that they are almost always sold out. Worth a try!

... Read moreAs a huge fan of Trader Joe's, I'm always on the hunt for new favorites and tried-and-true staples that make my weeknights easier and more delicious. This latest haul really delivered, especially with some standout frozen options that I simply can't get enough of. Let me share a bit more detail on why these items have become my go-to's, and how I incorporate them into my meals! First up, let's talk about the Trader Joe's Breaded Chicken Tenderloin Breasts. Honestly, these are a game-changer for anyone looking for quick, quality protein. They come fully cooked and frozen, which is a massive time-saver. At just $7.99 for a pound, the value is incredible. My absolute favorite way to prepare them is in the air fryer – they come out perfectly crispy every single time, usually in about 20-25 minutes. I love tossing them with a little extra seasoning, maybe some garlic powder or a smoky paprika blend, before popping them in. They’re fantastic sliced up over a fresh salad, tucked into a wrap with some crunchy veggies, or served simply with a side of steamed rice and a quick sauce for a super easy weeknight dinner. If you’re looking for a convenient and tasty frozen chicken option, these are a must-try. Next, the Trader Joe's Mini Vegetable Samosas are another item that frequently makes it into my basket, if I'm lucky enough to find them in stock! These little pockets of joy are filled with a delicious mix of vegetables and authentic Indian spices, all wrapped in a wonderfully crisp, flaky pastry. They're perfect as an appetizer when friends come over, or even as a quick snack when I'm craving something savory. While the package gives oven instructions, I've found that a few minutes in the air fryer can make them even crispier. Don't forget to grab some of TJ's mango chutney or a simple yogurt dip to go along with them – it elevates the experience completely. And for seafood lovers, the Trader Joe's Blackened Salmon is an absolute winner. This seasoned, boneless fillet of Norwegian farm-raised salmon is incredibly flavorful and cooks up beautifully. I usually bake it in the oven for about 12-15 minutes, or pan-fry it for a quick sear. The blackened seasoning gives it a lovely kick without being overwhelmingly spicy, making it versatile for various meals. I love pairing it with roasted asparagus and a squeeze of fresh lemon, or flaking it over a bowl of quinoa and mixed greens for a healthy, satisfying lunch. It's a fantastic option if you want restaurant-quality salmon at home without all the fuss. Beyond these star players, I’ve also been enjoying some other finds. The Spicy Meat Pizza with its smoked sausage, meatballs, and grilled red bell peppers is a surprisingly good frozen pizza option for those lazy nights. The Plantain Crisps are my go-to snack when I want something crunchy and a little different from regular potato chips – those crispy plantain slices are just addictive! And if you haven't tried the Tikka Masala Curry Sauce, it's a lifesaver for whipping up a quick and flavorful Indian-inspired meal with chicken or chickpeas. These items, along with the popular Berries & Cream Yogurt and even the practical Veggie Soup (hello, free mason jar!), truly round out a fantastic Trader Joe's shopping trip. Happy hauling!
