My first painting using gouache paints 🎨

I’ve been on a little social media break the past couple of months, and it’s been so refreshing. I’ve spent more time reading (five books down and working on my sixth!), creating without pressure, started going to the gym, and just focusing on being present. I even went to a few art markets and took some mini adventures along the way.

Taking time away has helped me reconnect with my creativity and rediscover my love of reading, and now I’m excited to start sharing my artwork again!

This piece is my very first gouache painting, it took a bit to get the hang of layering without smudging, but once I figured it out, I fell in love with the process. I can’t wait to make more! ✨
