This is one painting in a collection I’m making of beachy paintings with a Y2K feel, if you can’t tell I am so ready for winter to be OVER. The weather where I live has been feeling pretty nice the last few weeks and after several days of temps in the 80s (and it felt perfect outside!) we suddenly had snow?? 🤔😅 Hopefully spring is back on track because I’m over it, I’m ready for warmer weather, sunshine and days enjoying to water again.

... Read moreAdding a personal touch to my art collection, I’ve been focusing on capturing that nostalgic Y2K vibe infused with serene beach scenes. It’s a fun way to combat the winter gloom and mentally transport myself to sunnier days. I find that painting these laid-back mornings and sunset hues in my studio helps me reconnect with the peacefulness of the coast even when snow falls outside. What’s really interesting is how these artistic themes resonate with many people who, like me, eagerly await spring’s return. Painting beach scenes with warm colors and soft light offers a momentary escape and a hopeful reminder of the changing seasons. Sharing glimpses of my creative process and progress invites others to join me in this visual journey from chilly winters to the warmth of summer. The keywords "original painting," "female artists," "beach painting," "sunset painting," and "Y2K aesthetic" encapsulate the essence of my latest work. They don’t just describe the style but also connect me to a broader community of creators passionate about blending nostalgia with contemporary art trends. This interplay of personal experience and artistic expression makes each painting a reflection of both mood and memory, which I hope sparks inspiration in those who view it.
