Dollar Tree Yarn!!

okay so maybe i am a lil late to the dollar tree yarn game but in case i was not the last one to see these, i wanted to share here!!

i have been using the “just chenille” that a friend sent me and was so pleasantly surprised at the quality of it that i wanted to hunt down more dollar tree yarns!

💙 the teddy yarn is so soft!! not grabby like microfiber, not fur, just, something in the middle.

🩷 the worsted weight acrylics were lovely colors.

🤍 I am most interested in getting some of the cotton and working with that to see how it holds up, I did see that the cotton was 100% recycled cotton, which is a bonus in my book, but the yarn looks like it may split easily, so I am not sure what I think just yet, I will report back though.

🧶 the plastic crochet hooks will definitely work in a pinch if you can’t find what you need to finish your project and just wanna get it done, or if you are a brand new crochet and don’t wanna spend any more money on a fancier hook, I imagine you just can’t use them for very long or use them with a very tight tension. The aluminum hook, however, is seemingly just as nice as the other aluminum ones that I have from other retailers like Joann and Michael’s.

all in all, I will continue to keep tabs on the most affordable craft products I can find and really just be honest about what works best for me. Being so pleased with the Just Chenille I will continue to get that, and I will work with these other yarns soon and let you know what I create!
