Granny square baby vest pattern
This is a very rough pattern for a size 3/6 months. I used the k and c superwash wool luxe in cardinal feathers from Joann’s (rip) which is a weight 2 but looks and feels like a weight 3 or light 4 and a 5 mm hook.
I made 2 granny squares with 7 rounds. The rest is worked on 1 square only then connected to the other at the end. On each side I left 12 stitches unworked then connected my yarn and put a double crocheted 17 stitches, make 4 round for the sides. For the shoulders I worked 8 double crochets on each side of the top of the square for 7 rows. I left the tails really long to use them to sew the sides and shoulders on to the other square. Weave in ends as you sew the pieces together.
