Lemon8 is about authenticity, right? 🥺💔
One of the main reasons I joined Lemon8 was to have a space where I could just be me—a space to journal and connect with others on this crazy journey. 📝✨ I was SO excited to share every step of becoming a homeowner 🏡 and turning our new build into something full of character and charm, with tons of DIYs 🛠️🎨.
And honestly, I still am! 💖 But here’s the raw truth: our closing date has been delayed for over a month now 😩⏳. Today, we found out it’s pushed back again—and I’m beyond frustrated… like, seriously pissed off! 😡🔥 It’s not just about being eager to move in; it’s how this delay affects our family. 🚗 We’re driving our son over three hours to school every day 🚌📚, all while juggling my 9-5 💼 and everything else life throws our way (like living out of boxes with two boys! 📦)
So yeah, this post isn’t about engagement or likes—I just need a space to be real 🙌. But if you’re interested in seeing how this all unfolds (hopefully soon 🤞🏽), follow along for the ups, downs, and everything in between! Has anyone else gone through closing delays? I’d love to hear your story 💬.
Also, want to just add that although I’m frustrated, I am still grateful for the future 🙏
