Permission 1: Annual holidays

"Vacation day waiting!"

The law says:

Employees who have completed one year are entitled to at least 6 days of annual leave per year (excluding public holidays).

What to know:

Most companies usually give leave from the first 120 days of work, but it also depends on company policy.

If not on leave that year, the company may have to pay for the remaining days of leave or accumulate the following year.

Don't let anyone say "don't leave," because it's our right!

Permission 2: Sick leave

"Sick, it needs to rest!"

The law says:

Employees are entitled to sick leave according to their illness and are paid not more than 30 working days per year.

What to know:

Sick leave of 3 days or more. The company may apply for a medical certificate.

Sick leave does not mean that you are a bad person or lazy! If sick, you should rest. Do not force to go to work because it will make you more sick.

Permission 3: Overtime (OT)

"Work over time. Must get money!"

The law says:

If working more than normal working hours (i.e. more than 8 hours per day), overtime (OT) shall be paid as compensation.

What to know:

Regular working day: OT not less than 1.5 times the hourly wage.

Holiday: OT not less than 3 times the hourly wage.

The company has no right to force free work! Keep evidence of overtime as well.

Permission 4: Job trial

"Trial for no more than 120 days!"

The law says:

A job trial is not considered a special employment contract, but part of an unlimited employment contract, and a company cannot give a trial for more than 120 days.

What to know:

During the probationary period, the company is entitled to dismissal, but if it works more than 120 days and is fired, it will be entitled to legal compensation.

Don't let companies use the excuse of "still on probation" to take advantage of us.

Salary and pay date

"Salary must be exact!"

The law says:

The company must pay wages to the agreed deadline.

What to know:

If the company pays later than scheduled, it is considered to break labor law.

If there is any doubt about the salary calculation, ask the person immediately. Don't be afraid!
