Vulnerable postpartum video. The devil will only try to steal your joy. Thankful for friends that point me to Jesus! #postpartum #postpartumjourney #postpartumthoughts #csectionmom
The postpartum period often brings a whirlwind of emotions and physical challenges, especially for mothers recovering from a C-section. It’s natural to feel vulnerable during this time, as your body heals and you adjust to the new demands of motherhood. Many new moms encounter feelings of doubt, anxiety, or sadness, sometimes compounded by hormonal shifts and fatigue. However, connecting with supportive friends and faith can provide immense comfort. Embracing a community—whether through online support groups, postpartum forums, or faith-based gatherings—offers an important outlet for sharing experiences and gaining advice. Practices such as gentle exercise, adequate rest, proper nutrition, and mindfulness can help boost physical and mental well-being. If you’re experiencing more intense feelings or symptoms of postpartum depression, seeking professional help is crucial. Remember, the 'devil' that tries to steal your joy symbolizes those negative thoughts or external pressures that can weigh heavily during postpartum recovery. Focusing on gratitude, spiritual encouragement, and surrounding yourself with uplifting people can empower you to reclaim that joy and resilience. Your journey is unique, and taking time to honor your feelings and progress is a vital part of healing and embracing this new chapter.

Hey girl, thanks for posting this. It was the thing I didn’t know I needed. I’m also a c-section postpartum mom four months in with baby number three and I’m breast-feeding and pumping. I hate pumping as well, however I’m an over producer so not pumping has Not been an option for me because of the sheer pain that comes along with it. I have three under three so trying to find energy to give my best to the other two who are also still babies is a real struggle so I totally understand your plight. Thank god for active and present husbands 🙌🏾🙌🏾. He really shows up for the toddlers when I’m dealing with the infant. My thoughts and prayers go out for you and I hope that this bump in the road is a quick one for you. You’ve got this! Sincerely another mom on this struggle bus called parenthood 😂
