how many of you guessed the series before i revealed it? the poppy war is a grimdark military fantasy series, and it has a lot of disturbing elements. it doesn’t shy away from the realities and horrors of war, so if you find that content upsetting i would not recommend picking up these books.

This book had me on the EDGE of my seat!! Darcy Coates does a wonderful job of combining different aspects of literature, breaking it up into digestible pieces, while also weaving a wonderful web of a story.
