About 10ish months ago, I decided that I had let myself go for long enough. I was at my heaviest and was miserable, had zero self confidence, hated the way I looked, was unhealthy, and extremely out of shape. My blood work results were getting worse and my mental health was in the drains. I lost about 20ish pounds by just cutting back on my eating, but about 4 months ago I started taking it more personal and started hitting the gym hard. That’s when the weight started really coming off.
I make it a habit to go to the gym at least 4 times a week, sometimes I go 5 or 6 times a week. I always do at least 20 minutes of cardio and then machines or free weights for 20-30 minutes. I make sure I work up a good sweat and pump so that I’m burning those calories!
I want my kids to have a healthy mom to go out and do things with them. I want to be able to play with them, take them to the Zoo, park, etc. without being out of breath or having to take excessive breaks. I want to enjoy their childhoods, and at my starting weight, that was nearly impossible.
All it takes is the right mind set and self-motivation, you don’t need anyone else. DONT GIVE UP, QUIT MAKING EXCUSES! Do it for your kids, but most importantly, do it for YOURSELF! If I can do it, you can too. Hop on this journey, you won’t regret it in the long run! 🩷🩷
