how i became a L&D nurse😌🎙️

i’m new- my whole account basically is my experience as a new grad nurse (thus far)

i have zero experience with the exception of school, basically. heck, i didn’t even work as a CNA DURING nursing school. 🏫

somehow, i landed an interview at my dream hospital for my dream job. 🍀

here’s what i did: 💡

• tailored my resume for this specific job

• ask questions during the interview (another post)

• expressed to my recruiter the love i have for this specialty & would basically beg for an interview at least

some hospitals don’t hire new grads & some don’t even let them interview for specific units without relevant experience

advocate for yourself. show up for yourself. let these people know that you are capable of hard things and succeeding in doing so. 💪

how did you land your dream job?
