🌞 Day 1: I just planted all the seeds that were able to spurt since a lot of my herbs didn’t but it has been very rainy in Ohio. Anyway here is to their new homes!
Gardening can be a gratifying experience, especially when you see your plants thrive in their new homes. In Ohio, the unique climate poses challenges like excessive rain and fluctuating temperatures, which can affect plant growth. It's important to select herbs that grow well under these conditions. For instance, basil, parsley, and chives are ideal for Ohio gardens. Starting with seeds allows for a personal touch and the satisfaction of nurturing your garden from the ground up. In the initial days, it’s crucial to monitor your seedlings. Ensure they receive sufficient sunlight—ideally, 6-8 hours a day—while protecting them from harsh weather conditions. Consider utilizing row covers during periods of heavy rainfall to prevent overwatering and root rot. Staying informed about local gardening tips through community resources or online forums can also enhance your gardening success. As the weeks progress, you will find joy in tending to your plants and watching them flourish!
