Bull moon rising
Okay, #BookTok fam, I just had to jump on here and gush about my latest obsession: 'Bull Moon Rising' by the incredible Ruby Dixon! Seriously, this book earned a solid 5/5 stars from me, and if you’re looking for a unique story that will sweep you off your feet, you need to add this to your TBR pile *immediately*. From the moment I started, I was completely immersed in Dixon’s world. The 'Artifactual Guild' lore, while not overly complex, provides such a fascinating backdrop for Sparrow and Hawk’s journey. It’s not just a romance; it’s an adventure packed with intrigue and just enough sci-fi elements to make it feel fresh and exciting. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but I was so pleasantly surprised by how well everything wove together. Let’s talk about the characters, because Sparrow and Hawk are truly the heart of this story. Sparrow is such a resilient and resourceful heroine. I loved watching her navigate challenging situations and stand her ground. And Hawk? Oh my goodness, Hawk! He’s that perfect blend of protective, dominant, and utterly swoon-worthy. Their chemistry is off the charts, and their journey together felt so authentic and earned. I found myself rooting for them from their very first interaction. That feeling of genuinely caring for fictional characters is what makes a book truly special for me. What makes 'Bull Moon Rising' a real gem, in my opinion, is how Ruby Dixon manages to blend her signature steamy romance with a compelling plot. It’s not just about the spice (though there’s plenty of that!), it’s about two characters finding connection and strength in each other amidst a larger conflict. The pacing was perfect, keeping me turning pages late into the night. It's truly a unique story that stands out in the crowded romance genre. For anyone who loves a good sci-fi romance, or even if you're just looking for an escape with strong characters and a captivating plot, I cannot recommend 'Bull Moon Rising' enough. It’s a definite New York Times Bestseller for a reason! This book has everything: adventure, heart, and a romance that will leave you sighing happily. Trust me on this one; you won't regret picking up this incredible read. It’s made its way onto my 'all-time favorites' list, and I have a feeling it will for you too!
