Queer liberation is not rainbow capitalism.
I’m sorry, but haven’t you noticed that since people have been more open lately about their hate that stores are selling less pride stuff? It’s not a coincidence.
They're just profiting off of us. Most big companies dont give a shit about queer people. If they cared they wouldn't be supporting and giving money to anti-lgbta politicians. + if they REALLY gave a fuck, they'd be trying to help create resources for us or spreading awareness about resources that help us.
They use us for profit for a month then go onto the next big thing. They aren't allies, they just like the rainbow aesthetic.
Not pride month anymore, but never a wrong time to talk about these things :)

Oh absolutely. I love the saying "corporations are not your friends" because it's extremely true. Every action they take is to increase profits. They follow wherever the money goes.
