I honestly didn't expect to find Zhangshugang peppers in Singapore! 🌶️
They're not even easy to come across in China, so finding them here was such a pleasant surprise.
Here's what we ordered:
🥩 Mao's Braised Pork
🌶️ Stir-Fried Pork with Zhangshugang Peppers
🍆 Braised Eel & Eggplant Claypot
🍅 Tomato & Fluffy Egg
🥦 Organic Cauliflower
🍚 Sweet Potato Rice
🌶️ The Stir-Fried Pork with Zhangshugang Peppers was my favorite. The peppers were crisp, naturally sweet, and incredibly fragrant. Now I understand why they're so highly regarded.
🥩 Mao's Braised Pork was rich and flavorful without being overly greasy. Tender, comforting, and surprisingly easy to keep eating.
🍆 The Braised Eel & Eggplant Claypot had a rich, savory sauce, and the eggplant soaked up every bit of it. Perfect with rice.
🍅 The Tomato & Fluffy Egg was light, tangy, and comforting, with silky eggs coated in the delicious tomato sauce.
And don't skip the Sweet Potato Rice! 🍚 It pairs so well with all the dishes and brings the whole meal together.
Every dish we tried was worth ordering. I'll definitely be back!
