Brain vomit time

So like, I usually take the most time planning things out, getting the backbone of the project done and then writing, and then scripting. That changes the most because i literally cannot make up my mind. Ever. Lol, thumbnailing and sketching is done, id say im 6/14 pages done. My time doing lineart is spent 80% watching movies. Staying inspired and working at a good pace is important!#comics #comicwork #webcomic #art #illustration

A common practice among artists is to establish a robust planning phase before actual drawing begins. This includes thumbnailing and sketching, which allows for a visual representation of ideas before committing to a final product. Furthermore, it is crucial to maintain a balance between work and inspiration. Many artists find that watching films or engaging in other creative outlets can stimulate new ideas and keep motivation high. Additionally, seeking feedback within art communities—such as forums for comics, comic work, and illustrations—can provide valuable insights and encouragement. Artists sharing their progress and challenges often develop a supportive network that can provide not only critiques but also camaraderie and shared experiences. Techniques such as setting specific goals can help in tracking progress and making the daunting task of completing multiple pages more manageable. For aspiring comic creators, embracing a routine that includes both disciplined work and bursts of creative freedom is essential for a fulfilling artistic journey.
