SEPARATION
Separation is often viewed negatively, but in my experience, it can be a powerful tool for personal growth and emotional health. There was a time when I found myself constantly answering calls and making myself available to people who drained my energy or brought negativity into my life. I realized that saying "no" and setting clear boundaries helped me regain control over my time and mental space. By purposely stepping away from toxic interactions, I started to notice a significant reduction in stress and a boost in my overall mood. It’s not always easy to break away from certain social habits, especially when they’re deeply ingrained, but the benefits are worth it. This kind of separation allows you to focus on nurturing relationships that bring positivity and support. Another key part of this journey is learning to be prepared and stay prepared to protect your energy. Practicing proper posture—not just physically but mentally—means being confident in your decisions to detach from drama or negativity. This doesn’t mean cutting everyone off or being isolated; it means being selective about who you spend your time and energy on. In my experience, removing myself from unproductive or burdensome interactions created space for opportunities that align with my goals and values. Whether it’s in a professional environment like the studio or personal life, this conscious separation empowers you to be more present and engaged with what truly matters. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by constant demands or negativity, try reflecting on who you truly want to have in your life and how you want to spend your time. Setting boundaries and embracing separation can be the first step toward a healthier, happier you.
