(I did start a book by a different author before starting this but I could not get into it.) Also, someone in a group I’m part of compared this book to a lifetime movie (not rated pg obviously.)

💭 My Mini overview - High school student Addie got into some trouble in her school last year involving her teacher. 🍎 This school year is a nightmare and everyone hates her, including her math teacher. Her English teacher (the math teacher’s husband) feels bad for this student, despite his wife’s feelings. Addie is considered troubled, but she’s not the only one who is troubled at school. 🤔
The twists at the end were insane! 🤯 That is what made me give this book 4 stars. I did not expect them. ‼️ Some of the details were pretty uncomfortable because of the mental health/predatory approach. But…this happens in high schools all the time.
McFadden is becoming one of my favorite authors.
