PROJECT PAN DECEMBER

... Read moreThe concept of a Project Pan involves using up your existing beauty products before buying new ones. This month, I focused on a selection of skincare, haircare, body care, and makeup items, documenting my experiences and outcomes. For hair care, I tried KENRA's volume shampoo and conditioner, which left me without noticeable changes. However, my goal was to finish the products I already own rather than seek immediate results. I also explored OUAI's detox shampoo; while it provided cleansing, it didn't stand out against my favorites. In body care, I experimented with LUSH's shower jelly. It's unique but not a standout for me—scents like pine can be divisive! My skin care routine included Olay's super serum and Drunk Elephant moisturizer. I found both products underwhelming in effectiveness; the Olay serum didn't yield changes. Lush's Clean It Zero is a favorite for ending my makeup routine. Makeup-wise, I used Lily&Fox nail stickers for holiday fun, showcasing artistry without the fuss. I also analyzed various eyecare products like Refresh Optive Gel Drops—necessary for my digital lifestyle. Lastly, deodorant can often be overlooked, but Secret’s aluminum-free formula with notes of white peach became a go-to, even as an active person who sweats a lot. Overall, this month’s Project Pan highlighted the importance of evaluating what we already have before making new purchases, fostering a more sustainable approach to beauty.
