I tried a new recipe for cinnamon rolls than what I normally do

⭐️Overall rating: 8 /10:

dough:

-start off with active dry yeast,and one cup of WARM milk. mix that together, all that to six for 5-10 minutes until foamy or frothy. if it doesn't foam, your yeast is expired.

-add 6 tablespoons melted butter (I personally use salted), 2 room temperature eggs, one teaspoon salt, half a cup of sugar, and 4 and a 1/3 cups of all purpose flour ( you can also sub bread flour, it makes zero difference)

*I prefer to use the unbleached flour, but it's whatever you like I guess lol.

combine all together until the dough longer sticks to the sides of the bowl.

-get a separate bowl, spray with nonstick cooking spray. transfer the dough to that bowl. cover with a kitchen towel. allow the dough to rise for about an hour. it does NOT need to double in size.

filling:

1 stick softened butter, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 tablespoon cinnamon. I personally just eyeball the cinnamon, and always add a little extra after I spread the mixture on top of my dough.

after the dough has risen, roll out with a rolling pin. I personally like to put flour on my counter top and rolling pin to avoid any sticking. add filling mixture, roll, cut. bake at 300⁰, my oven took roughly 23 minutes
