🖤The Square(2013)
- had to watch this for a class and ended up loving it! very interesting story about the Tahrir Square protests that took place in Cairo 2011. A good look at what the people in Egypt faced under a corrupt government and the activists that pushed for change

If you're a fan of movies or perhaps looking for some recommendations, this week was filled with diverse genres and interesting storytelling! In 'Saltburn,' the blend of bizarre elements with captivating visuals caught my eye, despite some narrative shortcomings. Likewise, 'Elvira, Mistress of the Dark' provided a nostalgic trip with its iconic humor. 'Family,' the film featuring Lucy Dacus on the soundtrack, resonated with many as it combined humor and heartfelt themes of love and belonging, making it the standout of my week. The critiques in 'The Florida Project' regarding societal issues wrapped me up in its fascinating world. Furthermore, 'Mother of Monsters' challenged my expectations, presenting a unique but slow-paced story that might not appeal to everyone. Lastly, 'The Square' engaged me with its historical significance, offering a glimpse into the 2011 protests in Cairo. With such a variety, I'd love to hear if you share my sentiments about these films or have any suggestions for what I should watch next! Feel free to drop your thoughts!
