ถ้าพูดถึง “วิถีคนรวย” ในชีวิตจริง สิ่งที่เห็นชัดที่สุดไม่ใช่การใช้ของแพง แต่คือ “วิธีตัดสินใจ” ว่าอะไรควรเก็บ อะไรควรซื้อ และอะไรควรชะลอไว้ก่อน ฉันเคยเป็นคนที่คิดว่าแค่มีของเยอะ ๆ = ฐานะดี แต่พอมานั่งไล่ดูเงินเข้าเงินออกจริง ๆ ถึงเข้าใจว่าของบางอย่างที่เราภูมิใจ มันกำลังเป็นหนี้สินที่คอยดูดเงินเราแบบเงียบ ๆ วิธีที่ฉันใช้ให้เข้ากับวิถีคนรวยคือทำ “ตารางสินทรัพย์/หนี้สิน” ง่าย ๆ ในโน้ต แบ่งเป็น 2 คอลัมน์แล้วใส่รายการที่มีในชีวิตจริง เช่น - สินทรัพย์ (Assets): หุ้นปันผล/กองทุนที่มีเงินปันผล, บ้านให้เช่า, ธุรกิจส่วนตัว, เครื่องมือทำมาหากินที่ช่วยเพิ่มรายได้ - หนี้สิน (Liabilities): รถยนต์ (ค่าน้ำมัน/ประกัน/ซ่อม), ทีวี/ของฟุ่มเฟือยที่ต้องผ่อน, บ้านอยู่เองที่มีแต่ค่าผ่อนค่าซ่อม (ถ้าไม่มีรายรับเข้ามา) พอเขียนออกมาแล้วจะเห็นเลยว่า “เรากำลังสะสมอะไรอยู่” บางคนรายได้สูง แต่สะสมหนี้สินเยอะกว่า เลยเหมือนทำงานหนักแต่เงินไม่โต อีกอย่างที่ช่วยมากคือกติกา 3 ข้อที่ฉันตั้งเอง (สไตล์บ้าน ๆ แต่ได้ผล) 1) ถ้าจะซื้อของที่เป็นหนี้สิน ให้มี “กระแสเงินสดจากสินทรัพย์” มาช่วยจ่ายก่อน เช่น ตั้งเป้าว่าเงินปันผล/รายได้จากงานเสริมครอบคลุมค่างวดบางส่วน 2) ของชิ้นใหญ่ให้ถามว่า “มันทำให้รายได้เพิ่มไหม” ถ้าไม่เพิ่ม ก็ต้องยอมรับว่าคือรายจ่ายระยะยาว ไม่ใช่ทรัพย์สิน 3) แยกบัญชี “ลงทุน” ออกจาก “ใช้จ่าย” เพื่อกันเผลอเอาเงินอนาคตไปตามใจวันนี้ ถ้าอยากเริ่มแบบไม่กดดัน ลองเริ่มจากสินทรัพย์ที่จับต้องได้ในชีวิตประจำวันก่อน เช่น ทำทักษะให้เป็นเงิน (รับงานเสริมเล็ก ๆ), เริ่มศึกษาหุ้นปันผล/กองทุน, หรือวางแผนเก็บเงินก้อนเพื่อสร้างสินทรัพย์ที่มีรายรับจริง ๆ สุดท้าย วิถีคนรวยสำหรับฉันคือการซื้อให้น้อยลง แต่ซื้อให้ “เงินไหลเข้า” มากขึ้น ทุกครั้งที่กำลังจะจ่าย ลองหยุด 10 วินาทีแล้วถามตัวเองว่า “นี่กำลังเอาเงินเข้ากระเป๋า หรือเอาเงินออกจากกระเป๋า?” แค่นี้ก็เปลี่ยนทิศทางการเงินได้แล้ว
