Anyone headed to Long Beach? 🌴
Steelhead Coffee in Bixby Knolls is definitely worth a visit! The service was top-notch - friendly and efficient. But the real standout was their seasonal Orange Blossom Iced Latte WITH Vanilla Cold Foam!!! 🤩 It was absolutely delicious, a perfect blend of coffee and bright, floral citrus notes. 🍊☕️ 🫶🏽
Highly recommend trying it if you get the chance!
My friend’s go-to order was a n Iced Caramel Latte with Oat milk and as per usual, hits! 🙌🏽

Okay, so while everyone raves about the amazing drinks at Steelhead Coffee (and trust me, the Orange Blossom Iced Latte is life-changing!), I wanted to shine a light on something else that makes this Long Beach gem so special: its incredible interior. I was actually driving to Bixby Knolls specifically to try their famous cold brew, and as soon as I walked in, I was immediately struck by the cozy, inviting atmosphere. It's not just a place to grab a coffee; it's an experience. The design is a perfect blend of modern minimalist and warm rustic touches. Think exposed brick walls, warm wooden tables, and just the right amount of lush greenery that makes you feel instantly relaxed. Natural light streams in through large windows, making it super bright and airy during the day, which is perfect for snapping some aesthetic photos for your feed. In the evening, the lighting shifts to a softer, more intimate glow, making it a great spot for a low-key meet-up or a quiet moment with a book. They have a variety of seating options too. If you're like me and need to get some work done, there are ample tables with comfortable chairs and plenty of outlets, which is a HUGE plus. For those catching up with friends, there are some plush lounge chairs and even a communal table that fosters a friendly, social vibe. There's also a cool bar area where you can watch the baristas work their magic, creating those delicious lattes and iced black teas. What I appreciate most is how they've managed to create different zones within the same space. You can find a quiet corner for focused work, a lively spot for conversations, or a sunny window seat for people-watching. The overall color palette is very calming – lots of earthy tones, with pops of color from local artwork. Even the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods contributes to the welcoming feel. So, if you're ever in Long Beach, especially if you're driving to Bixby Knolls, Steelhead Coffee isn't just about the exceptional caffeine fix (like that delicious LATTE or COLD BREW W/PISTA PORT I saw on the menu!). It's also about soaking in the wonderfully designed, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing interior. It truly elevates the whole coffee shop experience from a quick stop to a delightful destination. It’s definitely earned its spot as one of my favorite places to chill and recharge.
