I personally did go to college and graduated. Thankfully I had scholarships, grants and loans, but still had tons of student loans to pay off.

Then I couldn’t get a ‘high-paying’ job since I was told I needed at least 3 years of experience when I just graduated! 🤔

My first job I made $38k/year and thought I was doing good. My boss made $55k, and in my mind that was the ultimate goal!

Eventually I landed a financial sales position making $78k/year. My then goal was to become a VP so I can make at least $120k/year.

Fast forward to getting laid off from that job. And in my first year as a full-time fitness entrepreneur (B-FIT with Elle) I made $180k!! And now there’s no cap!

And all those skills used were self-taught, and from investments in coaches, and online courses and certifications.

Today, all the skills I’ve learned to get to where I am as a full-time entrepreneur are from investing in information then implementation.

And I continue to invest in my personal, spiritual, business and relational development for continued self growth and improvement.

I’ll never stop learning or investing in myself.

No longer need to work over time.

No longer need to request time off.

No longer working 10-12 hour days.

Now I have as much freedom as I choose and get to spend endless quality time and travel with my 3 year old son. 🤍🩵💙

So if you ever feel like you wish you had more time… you have the opportunity to create and make more time for yourself.

You’ll just need to ask yourself…

🤔 What are you willing to give up, and are you willing to make the investment in yourself.

An investment to double or triple your return by implementing the new skills that you learn? 📈

... Read moreThe journey from traditional education to entrepreneurship can often feel daunting, especially with student debt looming overhead. Many individuals are told that investing a significant amount in college will secure a high-paying job, but this isn't always the case. After dedicating years to their studies, they may find themselves in positions offering only modest salaries, leaving them with little time for personal or family life. As highlighted in this article, true investment lies in continuous self-education and the skills you develop post-graduation. Whether through online courses, coaching, or self-study, these investments can yield far greater returns than a college degree alone. The transition to becoming an entrepreneur opens up opportunities for financial freedom and flexibility that traditional jobs rarely offer. Additionally, the importance of mindset in this journey cannot be overlooked. A growth mindset encourages learning and adapting, enabling individuals to leverage their skills for maximum impact. This transformation not only enhances financial prospects but also allows for a more fulfilling life—spending quality time with loved ones, traveling, and engaging in meaningful activities. Ultimately, the key question is: what are you willing to sacrifice in the short term to achieve long-term gains? By prioritizing your personal and professional development, you can escape the conventional work model and create the lifestyle you desire.
