Hey everyone! Since you're curious to know more about me, Erika, I wanted to dive a little deeper into what makes me, me! You might've seen I'm new to Lemon8, and I'm so excited to share my world with you all. A big part of my identity, which I'm incredibly proud of, is being Latina. I was actually born in Cuba and moved to the US when I was seven. That journey really shaped who I am today, blending the vibrant energy of my Cuban roots with the dynamic lifestyle of Miami. Living in Miami is truly an experience! The sun, the beaches, the diverse culture – it all plays a huge role in my daily life and my passions. You'll often find me soaking up the sun at the beach, just like in some of my photos (yes, that's my favorite spot!). This city inspires my love for beauty and fashion, from finding the perfect glow for that Miami heat to embracing bold, colorful styles. I've got curly, blonde-highlighted hair, and I've learned so much about caring for it naturally, often drawing inspiration from traditional remedies and modern techniques. It's all about feeling confident and expressing myself! I'm also passionate about self-care, and for me, that looks like a mix of everything from skincare routines to gym sessions (yes, I've just started my gym journey this year, so expect some content on that!). But it's also about staying connected to my family – like my adorable baby brother, who's definitely my partner in crime! Building connections is so important, and I genuinely believe in supporting other women. In fact, my friend and I even co-own a small beauty business, creating products we truly love. It's been an amazing adventure learning about entrepreneurship and sharing our passion. On Lemon8, I’m hoping to connect with fellow beauty enthusiasts, fashion lovers, and anyone who appreciates a good self-care routine. I want to share my favorite tips, my journey as a young Latina entrepreneur, and just the everyday joys and challenges of being a 16-year-old navigating life in Miami.
