Faith and film!
When God gets ALL of the glory through my short films !!! It is all about Him, not me. May I decrease so He can increase and be glorified , magnified and have His name lifted up!
I pray that more people focus on His presence in my films and that He continues to use me as a vessel to give Him the praise.
It is not too late to use your gifts for God! Do it while you have the chance! Do it while you’re here on this earth! God deserves the praise!
He wants your yes! Your obedience! He is asking for your obedience and not your understanding!
It's truly a unique path, this journey of being a Christian filmmaker. When I first started, I wasn't entirely sure how to blend my spiritual calling with my passion for creating stories on screen. But when God gets ALL of the glory through my short films, it's an undeniable feeling of purpose. It’s not just about telling a good story; it’s about being a vessel, allowing His message to flow through every frame, every dialogue, every scene. I've learned that obedience is key, even when the understanding isn't fully there. Sometimes, the most powerful stories come from simply trusting that He will guide the creative process, helping to glorify and transform ideas into cinematic realities that resonate deeply. Many people ask what it's like to navigate the film industry with a faith-first approach. It's an ongoing spiritual journey, not just for me as the filmmaker, but for the actors and crew who choose to be part of these projects. We're not just making movies; we're crafting experiences that, we pray, will touch hearts and inspire. I often think about the power of films like 'I'm Not Ashamed' or 'Breakthrough' – how they bring true stories of faith, resilience, and divine intervention to life. These aren't just entertainment; they're testimonies. To see audiences connect with a character’s personal spiritual journey on screen, to witness moments of an 'unsung hero' finding their voice through faith, it truly reinforces why I do what I do. Of course, it’s not always easy. There are creative hurdles, funding challenges, and moments of doubt. But then I remember why I started: to lift up His name. It's about letting His light shine through my short films, showcasing stories where faith is the ultimate guide, much like the themes you might find in a 'lifted' spirit after a particularly moving film. My prayer is always that people will see His presence, not mine, and feel encouraged to explore their own faith, perhaps even sparking a desire to watch more christian movies based on true stories that uplift and inspire. For anyone out there wondering if their unique talents can be used for God's praise, I want to tell you, 'Yes!' Whether it’s writing, painting, music, or even simply serving your community, your gifts are meant to be shared. It’s never too late to start. Imagine if we all embraced that call – the collective impact could transform so many lives. Just as one small short film can plant a seed of hope, your contribution, big or small, can do the same. It's all about saying 'yes' to His call and trusting that He will use you beyond your wildest imagination. That's the real breakthrough we're all seeking, isn't it? Let your passion become a platform for His glory!
