Mineral SPF

Today I got the chance to try out Cay Skin’s New Mineral SPF part of Winnie Harlow Skincare collection.

Here are my thoughts: I really enjoyed the droplet applicator allowing easy application specially on the go. One of my favorite things was it doesn’t have your typical SPF fragrance, this one has a soft earthy scent. Application was easy and the formula feels light weight.

Great choice for everyday use!

It’s now available @Sephora

... Read moreSince trying Cay Skin's New Mineral SPF, I've had so many people ask me for more details, especially since it keeps popping up in my 'everyday essentials'! I wanted to dive a bit deeper into why I think this "Skin Loving" sunscreen from Winnie Harlow's collection is a game-changer, especially for anyone searching for a reliable 'Cay Skin sunscreen' or exploring 'Cay Skin products'. First off, let's talk about mineral SPF in general. Many of us struggle with traditional chemical sunscreens which can sometimes irritate sensitive skin or leave a chemical odor. That's why I'm always on the hunt for effective mineral options. Cay Skin's Mineral SPF uses zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, offering broad-spectrum protection by creating a physical barrier on your skin. What immediately impressed me with this specific formula is its promise to "Nourish & Strengthens" the skin, which is a huge bonus beyond just sun protection. When I first applied it using the unique droplet applicator – seriously, it makes putting on SPF so much less messy and more precise – I was braced for the typical white cast that mineral sunscreens are notorious for. But guess what? There was hardly any! This formula blends in beautifully, adapting to my skin tone without leaving me looking ghostly. It truly delivers on its "Semi Matte Finish" claim, which is fantastic for my combination skin. I found it didn't make me look overly shiny, nor did it feel drying. It simply left a healthy, natural glow. The texture is incredibly lightweight, unlike some thick, pasty mineral sunscreens I've tried. It feels comfortable on the skin and layers well under makeup without pilling or feeling heavy. This makes it a perfect candidate for daily use, which is exactly what I need in a sunscreen. And that soft earthy scent? It’s a subtle touch that elevates the experience from a chore to a treat. It’s a refreshing change from the strong, almost medicinal scent that often accompanies SPF products. I've been using it consistently for my morning routine, and it feels like it's genuinely contributing to my skin's health. The idea of a sunscreen that also 'nourishes & strengthens' isn't just marketing copy; my skin feels softer and looks more even-toned. For anyone with sensitive skin, or if you simply prefer a more natural approach to sun protection, this 'Cay Skin mineral sunscreen' is definitely one to consider. It’s designed to be kind to your skin while offering robust protection against harmful UV rays. So, if you're like me and were skeptical about finding a mineral SPF that ticks all the boxes – effective, no white cast, great texture, pleasant scent, and 'skin loving' benefits – then you absolutely have to give Cay Skin's Mineral SPF drops a try. It’s available at Sephora, making it super accessible to pick up and experience these benefits for yourself. It’s quickly become a staple in my skincare arsenal, and I think it could be yours too!
