LIFE AS A KPOP FAN ✨

A kpop fan since way back then.

I remembered how I asked my mum to buy me tickets for kpop groups prices were already almost $200++ 😭

Stanning groups that's now no longer active, members left, it's definitely not for the weak for real 😭❤️

Buying kpop albums, lighsticks, concert tickets and other merch definitely burn a hole in the pocket.

For some it may be just a phase, some may be a long time. And also as a coping mechanism for their life.

It's a hobby, that can either make yourself happy or sad.

Some may have the money some may not have a money and that doesn't mean you are not a fan 🥹❤️

I envy how some fans can go like literally their entire world tour, travelling to Korea just for a concert and come back.

But if it's a hobby, it makes you happy instead of worrying your finances just do it!

WORK HARD PLAY HARD YAHOOO 🌼❤️

... Read moreBeing a Kpop fan is truly a unique experience filled with passion and sometimes challenges. As someone who has been following various groups over the years, I completely relate to the thrill of attending concerts, even when ticket prices soar above $200. It’s not just about the music; it’s about the sense of community and connection to something bigger. Stanning groups that may no longer be active or have members who have left can feel bittersweet. It deepens the emotional investment but also teaches resilience as a fan. Collecting albums, lightsticks, and other merchandise is a fun way to show support, but it definitely can strain your budget. I’ve learned to balance my enthusiasm with practicality, ensuring that my hobby doesn’t become a financial burden. For many fans, Kpop is more than just entertainment—it’s a coping mechanism, a way to channel emotions, and a hobby that brings happiness amidst life’s stresses. Whether you have the means to travel globally for world tours or simply enjoy watching performances online, every fan’s journey is valid. The key is to enjoy the music and culture in a way that feels fulfilling, without undue pressure. One inspirational aspect I’ve observed is how some fans dedicate themselves to experiencing the full global tour, traveling to places like Korea just to catch concerts. While that’s impressive, it’s not a requirement to be a true fan. You can cherish and support your favorite artists in your own way, whether through streaming music, joining online fan communities, or collecting meaningful memorabilia. Lastly, fandom is a balance of working hard in your day-to-day life and allowing yourself joyful escapes through music. Staying true to what makes you happy, whether it’s cheering on idols or connecting with fellow fans, is what keeps the Kpop community vibrant and enduring. Remember, being a fan isn’t about money or status—it’s about passion and the joy music brings into our lives.
