My Restaurant Diary 🍽️ EP. 1
📍Location: Snap Thai Fish House, Buckhead, Atlanta, GA.
Thoughts: The ambience of this restaurant is sophisticated and modern (nice for taking pictures too especially if you are a content creator). The food presentation was really nice and the meal was good too. They have a wide array of meal options and wait time before food was served was about 15-20 minutes. You’ll be treated to some Shrimp Chips while you wait ☺️. Definitely worth dinning at.
⭐️Overall rating: 4/5
💰Price: $50-$100 (Quite Pricey). Tip is a Must and it is included in your final bill, you don’t get to decide how much you give.
What I Ordered & Price: LOBSTER FRIED RICE- $46

For my latest 'My Restaurant Diary Dinning Out' entry, I ventured to Snap Thai Fish House in Buckhead, Atlanta, eager to experience what makes this spot so talked about. Stepping inside, I was immediately struck by the sophisticated yet inviting ambiance. It’s not just modern; it’s thoughtfully designed with sleek lines, warm lighting, and tasteful art that creates an upscale, romantic, and even photo-friendly atmosphere – perfect for capturing those aesthetic moments for anyone, myself included, who loves sharing their dining adventures. The background music was perfectly curated, adding to the chic vibe without being intrusive, allowing for easy conversation and a relaxed dining experience. My choice for the evening was the Lobster Fried Rice, priced at $46. This dish was, in a word, spectacular. Visually, it was a masterpiece: vibrant colors, generous chunks of perfectly cooked lobster nestled within fragrant, fluffy rice, garnished with fresh herbs. The aroma alone was enough to make my mouth water. Taste-wise, it struck a beautiful balance – savory with a hint of sweetness, and a subtle depth of flavor that kept me wanting more. The lobster was incredibly tender and sweet, a clear indicator of its freshness and quality. It wasn't just 'good'; it was a memorable culinary experience that showcased the kitchen's skill and attention to detail. This level of execution makes even a classic dish like fried rice feel elevated and special. Beyond my own order, I noticed a wide array of other enticing options being served, from aromatic curries to beautifully presented noodle dishes. While I only had room for one main, the quality of my Lobster Fried Rice gives me confidence that their 'wide array of meal options' are likely prepared with similar care and expertise. A pleasant surprise was the complimentary shrimp chips served while waiting for our order – a small but delightful touch that made the 15-20 minute wait fly by. They were crispy, light, and a perfect start to the meal. The service team was attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring glasses were refilled and dishes were cleared promptly. Regarding the included tip, while some might prefer to decide their own gratuity, it streamlined the payment process and ensured fair compensation for the excellent service. My overall rating of 4/5 reflects a truly excellent dining experience. The 'quite pricey' aspect, with meals typically ranging from $50-$100, is justified by the high-quality ingredients, exceptional presentation, sophisticated ambiance, and attentive service. It’s an investment in a premium dining night out. The reason it wasn't a perfect 5/5? Perhaps a desire for one or two more daring or unique flavor combinations on the menu to truly push the boundaries of Thai cuisine, though what they offer is already stellar. For anyone in Atlanta looking for an upscale Thai meal, a memorable date night, or simply a gorgeous restaurant to enjoy delicious food, Snap Thai Fish House in Buckhead is a place I wholeheartedly recommend. It's a definite highlight in my ongoing dining adventures!
