Selling to moms

I built a 7-figure business selling to moms, not entrepreneurs

- here’s why that changes everything you think you know about marketing

Every marketing strategy you’ve learned was designed to sell to business owners.

The content frameworks.

The sales funnels.

The “proven hooks.”

All of it.

Created by people selling courses to entrepreneurs.

Tested on entrepreneur audiences.

And you’re using those exact strategies to sell to exhausted mothers protecting their babies.

That’s why it’s not working.

Entrepreneurs scroll Instagram during lunch looking for business tips.

They calculate ROI. They make quick decisions.

Moms scroll Instagram at 11pm to escape their day.

They need trust. They make careful decisions about anything affecting their family.

Completely different psychology.

Completely different buying behavior.

I didn’t learn this from a business coach.

I learned it selling to 15k+ moms.

When I was building @labor.nurse.mama, every piece of marketing advice failed.

“Create urgency” - moms felt pressured and left.

“Use transformation language” - moms cared about safety, not transformation.

“Overcome objections” - moms had fears, not objections.

So I stopped following entrepreneur marketing and started watching how moms actually bought.

I stopped using business language (invest, transform, ROI) and started using protection language (keep baby safe, feel confident, trust yourself).

I stopped trying to convince and started making moms feel seen.

I stopped creating for algorithms and started creating for terrified moms searching at 2am.

Result? 709K followers and $1.7M selling TO moms.

Every other business coach built their audience selling to entrepreneurs.

I built mine selling to scared mothers.

The strategies are completely different because the audiences are completely different.

If you’re using entrepreneur marketing on mom audiences - that’s why you get engagement from peers but zero sales from mothers.

Want the exact story strategy I used to build 7 figures selling to moms? Comment STORY.

... Read moreSelling to moms requires a deep understanding of their unique mindset and daily realities. Unlike entrepreneurs who make business-driven decisions, moms are motivated by trust and safety—especially when it comes to their children. From my personal experience building a brand that attracted over 700k followers and generated $1.7 million in sales, I realized that empathy is the foundation of successful marketing to moms. Late-night scrolling sessions aren’t about quick ROI calculations; they're moments when moms seek reassurance and connection. Messaging that feels pushy or sales-driven only alienates them. Instead, embracing language centered on protection, confidence, and self-trust resonates deeply. For example, phrases like "keep your baby safe" or "feel confident in your choices" create emotional bonds rather than transactional relationships. It's also essential to recognize and honor their fears rather than dismiss them as objections. Marketing to moms means offering genuine solutions to their concerns without pressure or urgency tactics that might make them feel rushed or overwhelmed. Creating content that acknowledges their challenges and showing authentic understanding can turn hesitant browsers into loyal customers. I encourage others to observe their target audience's real behaviors and adapt strategies accordingly, rather than rigidly following business-to-entrepreneur marketing formulas. By shifting focus from algorithms and business jargon to heartfelt stories and reassurance, marketers can build communities of trust and engagement, leading to sustainable growth. In summary, selling to moms is less about hard sells and more about heartfelt connection. The key is to genuinely see and validate their experiences, making them feel valued and understood. This approach has not only driven impressive sales but has also fostered a supportive community, which any brand looking to engage mom audiences should strive to create.
