When I first started in aviation, I often felt like I needed to prove myself constantly. Over time, I learned that authenticity and staying true to who you are build the strongest foundation for success. Taking inspiration from the stories of other Black women in aviation reminds me that our goals are absolutely within reach. Celebrate every milestone, big or small, and let your journey inspire others. In addition, embracing hashtags like #blackwomeninaviation and #aviation on social platforms helps create visibility and solidarity. They are spaces to share accomplishments, seek advice, and uplift one another. Whether you're working in an office setting, pilot training, or engineering, it’s essential to carry the belief that you belong and your dreams are valid. Remember, overcoming imposter syndrome is a process, not an immediate fix. Keep seeking inspiration, mentoring others, and sharing your own authentic experiences.
