Living amongst others and caring for them by means of sympathy or empathy for their situations is a matter of great importance. Likewise, being there to support them as they achieve their goals and milestone achievements demonstrates not just compassion, but genuine attentiveness to their needs. To rejoice with or for someone is to desire and engage with them in their well-being, and to weep with them is to share in their grief and lamination. Life is hard, and it is harder to ensure alone, this is why the Lord gave mankind friendships, companions, and constantly reminds us of His presence throughout His Word so we'll know we're not allow, and that we have hope. One of the greatest points of sorrow and weeping is having no hope, but the greatest moment of rejoicing is when hope is found in Christ Jesus by faith.
Today, remember that living the Christian life isn't in isolation, but in compassionate extension towards others in their time of need, and in their moments of joy.
