You're faced with endless choices, wondering what decor items will truly enhance your space. Start by evaluating the essentials that can elevate your room's comfort and functionality. Consider investing in a quality mattress topper, like the LINENSPA Memory Foam Mattress Topper, which can significantly improve your sleep quality. Many students find that a good night’s sleep is essential for their academic success. Maximize your workspace with a portable laptop desk, ensuring you have a dedicated area for studying that avoids distractions. With options available for under $40, this is a worthwhile investment for your academic journey. Additionally, utility carts for organizing snacks or school supplies can help keep your space tidy and functional. While shopping for dorm decor, be cautious with items that may take up more space than they provide value. For instance, oversized rugs or furniture that doesn’t serve a dual purpose might clutter your space and detract from its aesthetics. Opt for multifunctional items that offer storage solutions without overwhelming your area. Lastly, personalize your space with accent pieces that reflect your personality, like photo frames or plants that require minimal maintenance. This not only makes your room more inviting but also creates a sense of home away from home. Remember, simplicity and functionality should be your guiding principles when decorating your dorm. Focus on what will enhance your living experience and ensure you still have room for socializing, studying, and relaxing.

Honestly I love my storage ottoman. I was able to use it as a step for my bed and keep blankets in it

My college was carpet so I didn’t get a rug and everyone who did threw it away or got rid of it after the first year. Also I LOVE my reading pillow especially since my bed was all the way lofted
