Nail towels "hack"
Not really a hack. Just cut them in half and you have double the amount. I mainly work with gels and don't feel the need to have to use a whole piece. Just using half works out for me. #nails #nailtech
When it comes to nail care, efficiency is key. The use of protective nail towels can significantly impact your workflow, especially if you're working with gels or acrylics. One popular practice among nail technicians is to cut nail towels in half. This not only gives you double the towels but also allows you to manage waste effectively. Often, a full piece may not be necessary, and as mentioned, using half can be just as efficient and economical. The market offers a variety of absorbent nail towels, especially those with plastic backing which protect work surfaces against spills and mess. They come in various sizes, with 12" x 16" being a popular choice among professionals. The comfort of utilizing such towels ensures that tools and client hands are kept dry and free of products that may cause slip-ups during manicure and pedicure processes. Additionally, this hack can be particularly beneficial in a bustling salon where time is of the essence. Instead of constantly reaching for new towels, having half pieces available can streamline your next steps. Moreover, students and the novice technicians often learn this trick in nail school, emphasizing its practicality in real-world applications. Whether you're a professional or just getting started in the nail industry, experimenting with such simple yet effective hacks can enhance your service quality and satisfy your clients. So, next time you reach for your nail towels, consider cutting them in half for a cost-effective and efficient solution.
