everyday you can wake up and decide how your day will go.
Ok not literally but figuratively. You see, even on the worst days you can choose to be positive about your situation and put yourself in others’ shoes to see how truly blessed you are. Every day when I start to get mad and overstimulated I tend to snap, and then take a deep breath and remember that these days will be gone in a flash.
As a mother it’s so hard for us to both be a present parent and also not take the days for granted and wish them away. I’m guilty of wishing I could speed up time to when things were “easier” or “better” but to be honest, these are the days I’ll look back on and miss, laugh about, cry over.
I’m struggling postpartum with my third baby, but at the same time, realizing that I’m fulfilling my purpose every day. I’m taking care of humans, one day adults, that will have their own life. I have the more important, hard, stressful, but REWARDING job and it takes a toll on my mental health sometimes.
The pressure to be the best at your job, your purpose, is emense sometimes.
Keep fighting, keep going, but keep being yourself and staying true to your feelings. Give yourself grace. Believe in You. ❤️🫶🏼
... Read moreLife’s challenges can often feel overwhelming, especially when you’re facing them alone. As the image texts reveal—"Life has been HARD lately and feeling very heavy," and "I am struggling and sadly don't have a village to help, but I am strong"—these words resonate deeply with anyone who has experienced postpartum struggles and the isolation that can come with motherhood. It’s crucial to acknowledge that feeling weighed down by mental health challenges doesn’t mean you are failing; it means you are human.
Finding strength in these moments involves practicing self-compassion and giving yourself grace. When life feels heavy, taking a moment to breathe deeply and reset can help you regain clarity and calm. Connecting with others, even if it’s online or through support groups, can provide that much-needed "village" and remind you that you are not alone.
Postpartum struggles are complex, involving hormonal changes, sleep deprivation, and the emotional rollercoaster of nurturing new life while managing your own well-being. It’s important to prioritize mental health just as much as physical health by seeking professional support if needed and being open about your feelings.
Every day presents an opportunity to choose how you respond to difficulty. Choosing positivity doesn’t mean ignoring the hard moments but rather embracing them as part of your unique journey. Remember, the tough days will become the memories you look back on, laugh about, and even cry over. These moments shape your strength and resilience.
So, if you find yourself struggling, know that you are fulfilling an extraordinary purpose. Raising the next generation is demanding, but it’s also deeply rewarding. Keep believing in yourself, honor your feelings, and continue fighting—not to be perfect, but to be your authentic self. Your journey, your battles, and your victories matter deeply.
