These are the changes that I noticed at 6 days post op
Recovering from both Lipo 360 and breast reduction surgery within the first week can present a variety of physical changes and emotions. At 6 days post op, I noticed swelling and bruising were still present, which is perfectly normal as the body continues the healing process. Wearing a faja (compression garment) consistently helped reduce swelling and provided support to my midsection, which was crucial after the extensive liposuction around my torso. I found that maintaining good hydration and a balanced diet rich in protein aided tissue repair and boosted my energy levels. Although discomfort was still noticeable, pain management through prescribed medication allowed me to rest adequately. Light short walks, as approved by my surgeon, were beneficial to improve circulation and prevent stiffness. It's important to remember that every patient’s recovery timeline is unique; some may experience faster or slower healing depending on their health and adherence to post-op care instructions. If you’re considering similar procedures, be prepared for a healing stage that involves patience and attentive self-care. Documenting changes daily can help track progress and signal if any concerns arise. Finally, staying in close contact with your medical team ensures any unexpected symptoms can be promptly addressed. This personal update reflects my journey at 6 days post op and aims to offer insight and reassurance for those undergoing similar transformations.
