SO Satisfying Everytime I Do This😌
Just gave my freezer the reset it desperately needed. We literally couldn't open it without things falling out!
I actually organized things this time so I can know where things are instead of digging.
I did have to use a whole shelf for my baking items since I have frozen cake layers, fillings, frostings, etc. that I freeze.
Can't wait until we can get a deep freezer 😅
Resetting my freezer was such a refreshing experience—I finally said goodbye to the chaotic pileups where I could never find what I needed without causing a mini avalanche. One of the key changes I implemented was grouping similar items together and assigning each category its own designated space. For instance, dedicating a whole shelf just for baking items like frozen cake layers, fillings, and frostings made a huge difference. Another tip I found invaluable is using clear storage bins or labeled containers. This helps to keep smaller items like pecans, fruit, and quick meals neat and accessible, which not only saves time but also reduces food waste since nothing gets buried and forgotten. I also made sure to place frequently used items near the front of the freezer or on easily reachable shelves. The LED light inside my freezer now shines clearly across the organized layers, so I don’t have to dig around blindly. Planning to get a deep freezer soon feels exciting because it will give me more space to keep bulk items neatly stored and reduce the need for constant reorganizing. For those of you looking to do a similar freezer reset, I recommend starting with removing everything, wiping down the shelves, and then sorting items by category before putting them back. It’s amazing how an organized freezer can make meal prep so much smoother and satisfying every time!
