I see it now. 🤍
For a few weeks, people have been telling me I'm losing weight but I honestly couldn't see much of a difference until I put these photos side by side. There's about 10 lbs between them, and I was surprised by how much changed in my face!!
I usually notice my clothes feeling looser when I start to lose weight.
• At what point do you start noticing changes like this? Was it 5 lbs, 10 lbs, 20+ lbs down... or all at once?
Losing weight can feel like a slow process, especially when you're not seeing immediate changes in the mirror. From my experience, the difference a 10 lbs weight loss made to my face was truly eye-opening. At first, I didn't notice much, but when I put my photos from May 2026 and July 2026 side by side, I could clearly see my face appearing slimmer and more defined. This kind of noticeable face transformation can be highly motivating. Many people often wonder at what stage they should expect to see visible changes. In my case, it was around the 10 lbs mark. However, this varies greatly for each individual, depending on factors like body composition, where you typically store fat, and overall health. Some might notice changes as early as 5 lbs, especially around the face, while others might need more significant weight loss before seeing clear differences. I also found that besides facial changes, clothes fitting looser was another reliable indicator of progress. Keeping track with photos and clothing fit can provide better motivation than relying solely on the scale. Taking progress photos monthly helped me appreciate even subtle changes, which kept me more committed to my weight loss journey. If you're on a similar path, consider monitoring different indicators of progress, such as face appearance and how your clothes fit, along with scale weight. Remember that everyone’s journey is unique, and celebrating small wins like a 10 lbs difference can boost motivation tremendously. Consistency and patience are key to long-term success in weight management.

It took like 60lbs for me to notice it on myself, but typically others have been able to see it around 20-30lbs
