Parents have every right to travel, visit family, or go on vacation without being shamed because their baby dared to exist in public. Newsflash: planes are public spaces, not adult-only spas.
We’re already doing everything we can to keep them calm while running on no sleep, stale pretzels, and anxiety. Maybe instead of glaring, you could try having some empathy.
If you can’t handle a baby crying for a few minutes… maybe you’re the one who needs to grow up.

As long as the parents are actively doing something to stop the kid from screaming, I’ll have empathy. But too many ignore their kids’ poor behavior. Infants are one thing, kids can be taught.
